Honorable Mentions
This space is used to periodically honor a wide variety of businesses, organizations and projects working for positive good in bringing our One World together In Concert!
Khan Academy
For this Honorable Mention, we spotlight Salman Khan and his exceptional work with Khan Academy, a free online learning program described as follows...
"A free world-class education for anyone anywhere.
The Khan Academy is an organization on a mission. We're a not-for-profit with the goal of changing education for the better by providing a free world-class education to anyone anywhere.
All of the site's resources are available to anyone. It doesn't matter if you are a student, teacher, home-schooler, principal, adult returning to the classroom after 20 years, or a friendly alien just trying to get a leg up in earthly biology. The Khan Academy's materials and resources are available to you completely free of charge.
In the name of creating bright futures for all people, One World In Concert sincerely thanks Khan Academy for their efforts, and we wish them continued success in all of their endeavors. If you'd like more information on Khan Academy, please visit www.khanacademy.org
